Crafternoon Tea: Introduction to Bookbinding

Have you often found yourself browsing stationery shops for hours in search of the perfect notebook? Do you like playing around with paper and always dreamed of making your own sketchbook?  Do you want to try something new and have a fun afternoon out?

If the answer is yes, this might be the right event for you!

In this three-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of Japanese stab binding, a simple bookbinding technique that allows you to bind together single pages into a notebook in which to display your photographs, recipes or notes. You will learn how to assemble two/three beautiful personalised A5 notebooks/sketchbooks with different binding techniques.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners (but unsuitable for children, as we will use hammers, needles and other sharp tools).

£25 includes tuition, materials, freshly-brewed coffee/tea & delicious cake
