Story and Play: A Busy Day For Birds

Can you imagine…just for one day…you’re a busy bird?

Join us every second Wednesday of the month* in the Servants’ Hall from 11-12pm for self-led stories and play for under-fives. Enjoy reading a story, playing with toys and creating some colourful story-related art or craft.  November’s story is Lucy Cousins’ colourful, noisy and action-packed A Busy Day For Birds.  Come along and swoop, cluck and tweet with the feathered characters of this super-fun book!

No need to book – just turn up.

There is free parking for up to three hours on the road next to the House and we are right next to Swinton Grove Park and play area.

We've got a house...it certainly is a beauty...I must try and make the house give as much pleasure to others as I can.’
