Story and Play: The Gruffalo
A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood…
Join us every second Wednesday of the month* in the Servants’ Hall from 11-12pm for self-led stories and play for under-fives. Enjoy reading a story, playing with toys and creating some colourful story-related art or craft. January’s story is Julia Donaldson’s award-winning tale of ‘The Gruffalo’. Find out what happens to the clever mouse when he comes face to face with an owl, a snake and a hungry Gruffalo!
Usual admission applies (tickets last for 12 months and under 16s are free).
No need to book – just turn up.
There is free parking for up to three hours on the road next to the House and we are right next to Swinton Grove Park and play area.
