Grab your bonnet or top hat and join us to watch the 2004 BBC adaptation of North & South staring Daniela Denby-Ashe and Richard Armitage from 11.30am on Sunday 1 October. In celebration of Elizabeth Gaskell's birthday (29 September) we are showing this well-loved adaption in the house for the first time and to make it even more special we would like to encourage all visitors to don a bonnet or dress up in Victorian costume. Join us for a musical adventure exploring the sounds of a Victorian household, including a sing song around the piano where the Gaskell daughters played!
