On which days do you offer room hires?
The Darwin and Nightingale rooms are available for bookings 7 days a week.
The Bronte room and Servants’ Hall are only available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Student filming and photography is permitted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays only.
Professional photography and filming will be considered on all days, subject to availability.
What are your business hours for room hires?
Business hours for room hires are between 9am and 5pm. Hours outside of these times are charged at a higher rate.
All attendees must have left the premises by 11pm as we are in a residential area.
Hire time includes all set-up and breakdown time.
What is the minimum hire time?
The minimum hire time is 2 hours (4 hours on Saturdays).
What packages do you offer?
We offer a reduced fee for 4-hour and 8-hour bookings.
How many people can you host?
Our rooms can accommodate up to 35 people, depending on layout. You can find out more about the different rooms through the links below.
What are your facilities?
Our three meeting rooms include:
- Dedicated events team available throughout the planning process and on the day

How much does it cost?
Our prices start from £40 per hour (ex. VAT).

Do you offer a reduced rate for community groups and charities?
We offer a reduced rate to registered charities and community groups, starting from £30 per hour (ex. VAT). These discounted rates do not apply to registered charities or community groups if they are booking on behalf of a non-charitable organisation.
Do you offer refreshments and catering?
We offer an unlimited tea and coffee package for a flat fee of £30 up to 15 people and £40 over 15 people.
We do not provide catering but we are happy for you to bring your own food or arrange for a delivery. We can recommend a variety of local catering companies. We do not offer crockery or heating facilities for food and ask that all waste is tidied away before you leave.
Are your rooms accessible?
2 of our 3 meeting rooms are fully accessible, the Bronte and Darwin rooms. We have accessible toilets close to each of these rooms.
The Nightingale room can only be accessed via stairs.
Can I hire multiple rooms?
If you are planning a large event or conference, we can offer various deals to include multiple rooms. This is subject to availability.
