The Nightingale Room

The Nightingale Room is named after Florence Nightingale, a close friend of the Gaskells.

This room is located on the first floor of the Coach House, above the Darwin Room. This room does not have lift access and can only be accessed via stairs. Hire prices include a deluxe screen, flip chart and Wi-Fi.

The Nightingale Room is available for hire 7 days a week individually, or in a package with the Darwin Room and the Bronte Room.

These prices apply to weekday and Sunday bookings between 9am and 5pm. Please enquire for more information about Saturday and evening rates.

We offer a tea and coffee package for just £30 for us to 15 people or £40 for over 15 people. We do not provide catering but we are happy for you to bring your own food or arrange for a delivery. We can recommend some local catering companies if you would like.
