Online Talk: International Day Of Peace – William Gaskell and Crimea

Join us for an online talk in honour of International Day of Peace with this timely talk on William Gaskell’s sermon about peace, following the Crimean War.

Dr Ingrid Hanson, Honorary Research Fellow at Manchester University, will discuss Rev Gaskell’s sermon and its echoes in Elizabeth Gaskell’s own fiction.

The talk will start at 7pm and last for approx 45 minutes, followed by a short Q&A session.

Tickets are £3 The instructions for joining the talk will be sent via email prior to the talk’s start time.
