October Half-Term: Enjoy Halloween Family Fun
Bring your little horrors along for Halloween family fun this October half-term and be inspired by cone craft at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House. Make your own brilliant bat to take home using pine cones, card and paper in our Servants Hall – and the best bit is, there’s no mess to clear up!

Visit the House and let the kids get stuck in making their own creepy craft. There’s craft and colouring to try, plus our Cranford the Cat Trail around the house – all included in admission.
11am – 4.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 22 October – 2 November and included in admission (last entry 3pm). Entry is £7 for adults and free for children under 16, when accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be pre-booked up to a month before by booking here.
Elizabeth Gaskell’s House is run by Manchester Historic Buildings Trust (charity no. 1080606) and all money gained through private tours, talks, room hire and ticket sales goes towards the ongoing maintenance and running costs of the House. If you would like to support the House with an additional donation you can do so via this link.
