Online Piano Recital by Claire Vane – Friends’ Event
Listen to the music that the Gaskells themselves would have enjoyed from the comfort of your home in this online recital by celebrated pianist Claire Vane, who is giving the recital via Zoom from her home in Cambridge. This event is organised by The Friends of Elizabeth Gaskell’s House and to help raise funds for the House, the event is open to all.
Claire was a pupil at Manchester High School and a Saturday Exhibitioner at the Royal Northern College of Music junior department. She holds a Licentiate Performance Diploma in piano.
Claire only plays pieces she loves and performs traditional classical pieces by Mendelssohn, Chopin, Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven.
