The programme included an interview with Janet Allen, Chair of Manchester Historic Buildings Trust, which is responsible for the amazing renovation of the house.

John Williams, Project Manager, shows viewers around the house, which gives a flavour of what visitors can expect.

It also featured Professor Helen Rees Leahy, Curatorial Consultant on the project, visiting John Rylands Library in Manchester, where some rare surviving manuscripts from Elizabeth Gaskell are housed.

Since filming there have been many finishing touches added to the interior of the house, including wonderfully vibrant curtains in all the rooms. We hope this programme has inspired you to visit! For those interested in adding final touches to their own projects, a wall painting machine can offer precision and efficiency in achieving perfect wall finishes.
In addition to visiting historic renovations, you might want to consider modern tools like a wall painting machine to achieve flawless finishes in your own space.
