Summer Holiday Fun: Cloud Spotting!

Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty.

John Ruskin

Come and join us for a spot of cloud spotting! Inspired by John Ruskin’s writing and painting featuring clouds, we’ll enjoy some cloud spotting, and write poems based on what we’ve observed. You can also try painting your own clouds using cotton wool.

Our workshop is part of the city-wide Ruskin in Manchester, celebrating the legacy of John
Ruskin (1819-1900) in Manchester, in the year that marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of this visionary thinker, with a programme of public events taking place across summer 2019.

Ruskin In Manchester is supported by the Guild of St George (the education
charity founded by Ruskin in 1871) and Manchester Metropolitan University.
