The Wedding Team at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House request the pleasure of your company at our wedding open day on Saturday 14 September 2024.
Order of the day
This is the perfect opportunity to see the House as it would be on your special day. One of our wedding coordinators will give you a tour of the venue and provide details of our various packages. You can then explore the House further and speak to our dedicated wedding volunteers.
We will also be joined by some of our favourite suppliers including pianists, florists, photographers and caterers.
Our Tea Room will be open on the day, serving drinks and sweet treats!

Meet the suppliers
Lauren Elliot Photography
Lauren is a cinematic & documentary wedding & elopement photographer based in Manchester. She loves to have a laugh and immerse herself in your day, documenting your wedding in a creative and authentic way.
Vintage Afternoon Teas
Established in 2010, Vintage Afternoon Teas bakes, delivers and serves a bespoke menu for your special day. Think delicious finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and cakes with lashings of tea!
Dan Moore Piano
Bring your wedding day to life with a bespoke music package created and performed by Dan. He is very familiar with our boudoir grand piano. Dan is also able to bring his own piano and perform outside in the surrounding gardens.
Sweet Bud Florals
An independent, sustainable florist based in Levenshulme. Owner Liv has been creating bespoke floral designs across the North of England for the past 13 years, combining creativity with the latest design trends to beautify any venue.
Martin Taylor Piano
Martin is a North West based pianist/vocalist, available for all types of events and functions. Whatever style of music you are looking for, Martin can offer a bespoke playlist of music and songs suited to any occasion.
